Textbook Prices: An Economic Crisis!
At Penn, we are campaigning for a more affordable, accessible and democratic education. To fight the growing privatization and commodification of our schools, we are first creating a list of demands for cheaper textbooks — an issue all students can relate to.
Student debt is a huge yet ignored crisis around the country. Let’s make it visible! Invest in your education with SDS!
The economic crisis proves that true positive change must start from the bottom, so help us build student power for real democracy on campus! We plan to organize for halting tuition increase, endowment transparency, workers’ rights on campus, counter-recruitment, and combating gentrification of West Philadelphia.
